Compassionate, judgment-free, & evidence-informed support for trauma, mood, neurodivergence, and relationship challenges. Virtual across Colorado, in-person in Lakewood.
Hiya! I’m Grae, a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate, National Certified Counselor, and owner of Roda Wellness, LLC. I support adults and couples tackling the ups and downs of life – everything from depression, anxiety, and trauma to neurodivergence, identity exploration, and relationship difficulties.
Therapy can feel heavy, messy, or confusing – but it doesn’t have to. My approach combines compassion, realism, and practicality, while gently challenging and bringing in humor along the way. I aim to create a space where you can breathe, move, reflect, and grow, all without judgment. Together, we explore your thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and patterns, helping you reconnect with yourself and your needs while building skills to navigate life’s difficulties.
I specialize in working with clients who are:
I draw from modalities like ACT, DBT, Mindfulness, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused Therapy, always keeping your unique cultural, relational, and somatic experience in mind. My work is designed to help you notice patterns, learn coping strategies, and practice new ways of being in your body and mind – all while feeling safe, accepted, and seen.
Life’s challenges – big or small – can affect how we see ourselves and how we relate to others
By working together, we can:
My goal is simple: to provide a safe, nonjudgmental, and supportive space where you can thrive, feel empowered, and learn to support yourself no matter what life throws your way.
I graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding the brain and human behavior, and I also earned a certification in Public Health, broadening my perspective on health and wellness at a population level. After undergrad, I supported children and young adults on the spectrum as a behavioral technician, helping them grow skills, confidence, and autonomy. I went on to earn my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University in 2024, completing hours in both private practice, working with clients from young children to older adults, and correctional settings. I am also Gottman Level 1 trained, equipping me with research-based tools to help couples strengthen communication, deepen intimacy, and navigate conflict effectively.
Outside of work, I get my happy chemicals from my Lab-Chow-Mutt mix, Wesley, and my Russian Blue, Yogi. I love finding bodies of water for Wes to adventure in and, of course, curling up with them both. I also enjoy drawing, playing music (bass and flute), tackling puzzles and crafts, and, of course, indulging in tasty dumplings and a good whiskey – just a few simple pleasures that make life fun.
I bring curiosity, playfulness, and groundedness into therapy. Sessions are warm, supportive, a little humorous, and always practical, where we reflect, problem-solve, and build skills that stick. I value authenticity and bring both professional training and lived experience into an affirming, culturally responsive space, helping others to feel seen, safe, and empowered as we all journey through life stress, self-discovery, or relationship challenges.
